Becki Parker

Becki is a Dance Artist from Durham.

She has danced with the English Youth Ballet and attended summer schools in London and Blackpool.

Becki studied dance at college and went on to study BA dance at Teesside University.

In 2016 Becki was a festival maker at the Unlimited Festival at the Southbank Centre in London.

In 2016/17 Becki was a member of Flex Dance company (TIN Arts) and performed outdoors in the production of Caty Wompus.

Becki created an Autism awareness dance piece called Hunting for the Unicorn with the support of TIN Arts in 2018. She enjoys performing this piece because it inspires audiences and positively promotes autism and awareness.

Becki enjoys training, developing her dance skills and is currently training in Makaton.

Becki is working on developing her teaching skills. She wants to teach everyone but mainly dancers with additional needs.

She is looking forward to performing and choreographing new pieces on herself and other dancers.

Becki hopes to become an autism ambassador and help other dancers and people with additional needs to fulfil their career ambitions.
